1. Clean the filters regularly as the maker suggests. Dirty filters can make the hood work less well.
2. Turn on the hood before you start cooking for better ventilation.
3. If you hardwire the hood, ensure the electrical connections are safe. If unsure, get a qualified electrician.
4. If you're not sure, hire a pro to install the hood correctly and safely.
5. Install the hood at the suggested height (about 24 to 30 inches) for it to work well and avoid LED lights melting.
6. Now and then, look for anything blocking the ducts that could stop the air.
